Paul is a chartered accountant by training and was a partner with KPMG Corporate Finance until 2004, specialising in Structured FInance and Capital Markets transactions. Paul was then the CEO of ABP Food Group for ten years to 2016. ABP is one of Europe's largest privately owned Agfood businesses with turnover of over $3bn and over forty food processing facilities (in beef, lamb, convenience foods, petfood, proteins and agtech based renewable energy) throughout Europe. Currently Paul is Chairman of Monaghan Mushrooms, Europe's largest mushroom producer, and Chairman/General Partner at Yield Lab Europe, Europe's largest early stage venture capital investor focussed on food sustainability.
